Threaded disc valves are designed to be connected to the pipeline by threaded connections, which are part of the milk coupling, i.e. the mating part for the threaded valve will be a conical fitting with a cap spline nut. Butterfly valves with disc threads allow you to quickly stop the movement of liquid through the pipeline.
